The 128th Boston Marathon
The Boston Marathon has been one of the biggest annual events for the New England area since 1897. Since the unfortunate marathon bombing, each year this event has become the central way for locals to unite together to take part in and support the very talented runners who come from not only all over the country but all over the world. These photos were taken at around mile 7.7 in between Framingham and Natick at the end of a harsh uphill climb. Seen below are photos of male winner Sisay Lemma (Ethiopia) and female winner Hellen Obiri (Kenya) in addition to many other excited runners.
